AmeriCorps Director

As the AmeriCorps Director, I supervised 30 AmeriCorps members that were teaching children how to read better, learning about science and seeing first hand the work that our firefighters provide concerning fire safety in their homes.

Community Service

By volunteering, you become part of the community.  You meet new friends and expand your circle of aquaintances that can help you in the future.  Your network will grow and this will help you in college and in your future working career.  What can you do to make our City a better place to live?  Help yourself and others!

Recognition & Support

Former City Manager Martin Magana and I worked to create a pro-business green mindset to balance the City budget, attract new jobs, improve public safety, fix our roads, support youth programs, address the City drug & crime problems and make sure no more residents are killed on City streets due to no lights & crosswalks. Time for a renewed City culture & leadership focused on the needs of the People in the City.
